Vibrant isplack colors and Day’s creativity will combine in creating a work of art piece that will benefit the youth
Boulder, Colo. (February 3, 2016) -- isplack®, a leading provider of game day products, announced today a partnership with Will Day, an award-winning abstract painter, to create a live art piece during the 2016 Maxim Party held Feb. 5 at Treasure Island in San Francisco, Calif. the evening before the big game.
“It's the opportunity of a lifetime and the perfect opportunity to showcase how isplack unites people,” said JP O’Brien, CEO of Boulder, Colo.-based isplack. “At isplack, we believe in the power and emotion in uniting as a team. A united team has fun. A united team has confidence. And more often than not, a united team wins. That’s the heart and soul of isplack and there is no better atmosphere to celebrate teams and their colors than the 50th playing of the world’s most iconic football game.”
Day, also based in Boulder, Colo., is well-known for creating bold imagery on large-scale canvas in live settings. For his Maxim party live performance, Day will create a celebrity-infused, big game-themed painting utilizing isplack product by inviting special guests from the party to spontaneously interact with the art and leave their mark. The finished abstract painting will be signed and later auctioned off at Day’s San Francisco Gallery with proceeds benefiting The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the place where great futures are started each and every day. “It’s going to be crazy and fun at the same time,” Day said. “You never know what can happen at an event like this. That’s what makes it so exciting! I love using the energy, the music, and the people at a big party like this to fuel my art.”
